My name is Jackie Close and I am currently a Teacher Candidate at Brock University with dreams of being a Global Educator. I have wanted to be a teacher since I was a little girl. My grade 3 teacher first inspired this dream and throughout my educational journey I have been impacted and inspired by many other teachers, both positively and negatively. Through this journey I have also expanded my dream to be a global educator and hopefully teach internationally.
My traveling has been pretty limited so far but I have big dreams of where I want to live and visit. I am beyond blessed that two passions of mine fit so well together, teaching and traveling. In addition to this, the world we live in is so accessible. As I get closer to finishing my education, this is both an exciting time and a very overwhelming time.
